There are high-end parts and there are low-end parts available for our cars. High-end parts, in my opinion, would be those by SPL, Powertrix, Mike Smith, 300 Degree, etc. They command high prices, but for that you get much higher build quality, reliable support, warranties, you're supporting the innovators in the community, etc. Then there are low-end parts. They're almost all knock-offs of simple/non-mechanical parts produced by high-end vendors. Suspension parts, radiators, etc. It's an obvious fact that the quality of these parts is not as high as the high-end vendors, that goes without saying, but in certain cases they are (to me, at least) acceptable. It's my belief that AMS is a vendor that puts on a facade of being high-end, and asks high-end pricing for their low-end parts. If you want cheap parts, that's totally fine (and I have plenty on my own car), but you might as well get the same cheap crap and save even more money, because it's been proven time and time again that the crap you get from eBay is the same crap you get from AMS.
